About the role
What You Can Expect
As an Events Manager at Zoom, you will own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of vertical events targeting the education and healthcare industries, from industry trade shows and educational workshops to networking receptions and virtual experiences. Working cross-functionally with Zoom executives, marketing, sales, product, and technical teams, you will design event plans aligned to sector-specific revenue and partner priorities, manage budgets and vendors, and build the reporting frameworks that connect event performance to measurable business outcomes. This role is built for an organized, detail-driven event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, pivots quickly as priorities shift, and takes full ownership of every detail from pre-event planning through post-event analysis. Approximately 10% travel is expected for on-site event execution.
About the Team
The Field Marketing team sits within Zoom's broader Marketing organization and is responsible for driving pipeline and revenue growth through targeted regional and vertical event programs. We partner closely with Sales, Channel, Product Marketing, and Industry teams to design and execute experiences that connect Zoom's solutions with the customers and prospects who need them most. We are a collaborative, fast-moving team that values operational excellence, creative thinking, and measurable impact.

Execute vertical event logistics including industry trade show booths, educational workshops, healthcare events, speaking engagements, swag creation, networking receptions, and hosted ancillary events.
Build and manage event reporting dashboards based on KPIs, including ROI and marketing and sales metrics, to track performance and inform continuous improvement.
Own and manage event budgets, purchase order creation, and invoice processing to ensure accurate and timely financial accountability.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and partners to secure the right resources for seamless event execution within budget and quality standards.
Partner cross-functionally with Zoom executives, marketing, sales, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment on event strategy, deliverables, and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in event management and execution, with a track record of managing successful in-person and virtual events end to end.
Deep understanding of the education and healthcare verticals, including compliance standards, market trends, and industry event best practices.
Experience marketing vertical solutions at high-tech, cloud, B2B, or SaaS companies.
Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Proficiency with event technology platforms, Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and project management tools, combined with a strong understanding of KPIs, ROI, and event metrics for goal-setting and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with executives, marketing, sales, product, and technical teams, and a demonstrated team-oriented approach with leadership capability.
