About the role
About the team
The zMedia Center of Excellence team develops and implements marketing campaigns across various Paid Social and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) platforms to achieve both brand and performance goals. We help people discover Zillow and connect them to our tools and services, ultimately guiding them to their next home. The team is collaborative, data-informed and innovative. We work with a wide range of partners to support business objectives and deliver high-performing marketing campaigns.
About the role
We are looking for a channel expert to own the strategy and implementation of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Performance Max, and Google Demand Gen campaigns for one of our core lines of business. We are looking for someone energized by new challenges and who is looking to develop the depth and breadth of their skillset. If this sounds like you, join our Media team!
In this position you will have the opportunity to
Independently manage large, complex performance marketing campaigns across multiple lines of business with minimal guidance (Google Search, Performance Max, and Demand Gen)
Develop annual channel goals and channel strategy to achieve those goals
Determine network mix and monthly flighting within annual channel budgets
Lead responses to media briefs, develop channel plans, and own inputs to cross-channel media plans
Develop an annual learning agenda, test roadmap, and test plans with clear hypotheses to improve performance
Lead prioritization efforts for your channels: build and maintain JIRA boards to prioritize projects, assess tradeoffs, and track progress. Align with team members, leaders and stakeholders.
Partner closely with Marketing Specialists who support your channels: review performance analyses, approve recommended optimizations, and align on next steps
Lead recurring internal team syncs with the Marketing Specialists who support your channels and LOBs; facilitating discussion and collaboration across the team
Collaborate synchronously and asynchronously within our global team across the US, Mexico and India
Document launch plans, hand off to Marketing Specialists to build, and QA campaigns before launch
Build AI solutions and agents that support the team’s AI vision and roadmap
Advocate for support from partner teams (Data Science, Marketing Tech, creative development), and surface progress and blockers to stakeholders
Partner with internal teams on developing creative strategy and sharing learnings between channels (Creative team, Paid & Brand Social teams, Media Planning, etc)
Work with ad platform partners to stay informed of new capabilities and opportunities
Proactively communicate performance and project plans to stakeholders; own monthly channel reporting and provide inputs to data briefs
Own channel procurement: submit POs/receipts, report on spend, and maintain our budget doc
