Withdrawal policy (Widerrufsbelehrung)

Consumers (§ 13 BGB) have a right of withdrawal as follows.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (M. Subedi, Remotely Scaled, Johanneskirchner Str. 101, 81927 München, Germany, email hello@remotelyscaled.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://remotelyscaled.com/withdraw/ (the "Withdraw from contract" link in the footer of every page). If you use this online function, we will send you, without delay and on a durable medium (for example by email), a confirmation of receipt with the content of your withdrawal statement and the date and time it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than fourteen days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

Memberships and career services: if you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us an amount proportionate to what has been provided up to the time you inform us that you are withdrawing, compared with the full scope of the services under the contract.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

• Services (career services, and memberships where they count as services): the right of withdrawal expires once we have fully provided the service, provided that you expressly agreed before checkout that we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract (§ 356(4) BGB). For example, this applies once a 30-minute call has taken place, or once a written review has been delivered.
• Digital content (template downloads, and paid access to digital content such as the paid practice tests): the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun to perform the contract (download link or access made available), provided that you (1) expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends, (2) acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and (3) we provided you with a confirmation of the contract that includes this agreement and acknowledgement (§ 356(5) BGB).
