Position Overview
DuPont Performance Building Solutions is seeking a strategic National Account Manager to grow and protect business with assigned national and large regional homebuilders. The role owns customer strategy and relationships from the corporate office through operating divisions, translating commercial agreements into product adoption and installed volume. This would include partnering closely with our Tyvek® Distribution Network to execute division-level conversions, channel execution, field adoption, defense and expansion.
Account Strategy, Conversion, and Growth
Develop and execute account plans that define growth priorities, decision makers, competitive position, division opportunities, and measurable financial goals.
Own executive relationships and lead contracts, requests for proposal, pricing, rebate programs, preferred-product agreements, and other commercial negotiations.
Translate corporate agreements into prioritized division-level conversion plans, including discovery, trials, specifications, purchasing approval, rollout, and sustained adoption.
Build customer value propositions around risk reduction, construction quality, code compliance, labor efficiency, product availability, and field execution.
Coordinate joint account strategies with Tyvek® distributors, dealers, and building-envelope teams; clarify ownership, targets, timelines, supply readiness, pricing, and field support.
Protect current business while expanding into additional divisions, markets, product categories, accessories, and complete building-envelope systems.
Develop new national and large regional builder accounts by identifying the strongest corporate, divisional, technical, channel, or RFP entry point.
Lead cross-functional execution across Sales, Pricing, Contracts, Legal, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Building Knowledge, and Technical Service.
Track pipeline, conversion milestones, contractual commitments, competitive threats, and account performance in CRM; escalate barriers and coordinate corrective action.
Maintain knowledge of builder strategies, residential construction, building science, codes, competition, and channel dynamics; represent DuPont with relevant industry stakeholders.
