About the role

Hostaway is looking for a Lead AI GTM Engineer to build the systems, workflows, and AI-powered tools that make our global marketing team faster, smarter, and more effective.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of how modern marketing teams operate. You will work across Brand, Content, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to identify where AI can improve performance, reduce manual work, and increase the quality and speed of execution.

You will decide where to buy, build, or automate; design and deploy agents and workflows; integrate AI into our marketing technology stack; and measure whether those solutions improve marketing performance and ROI.

This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You should be equally comfortable mapping a complex GTM workflow, evaluating a new AI platform, building an agent, connecting systems through APIs, and explaining the business impact to senior marketing leaders.

Your mission

Find the highest-impact opportunities: Identify where AI can improve performance, speed, quality, efficiency across Marketing. Spot common patterns, build reusable, scalable systems rather than one-off solutions.

Build, integrate AI solutions: Design, build, deploy agents, multi-step workflows, automations, internal tools, then connect them to our marketing platforms, data sources, APIs, internal systems. Example: a campaign builder where a marketer submits a brief, an agentic workflow produces every asset, including versions, localizations, then pushes the ads live on Meta, LinkedIn, Google.

Own build-vs-buy: Evaluate emerging AI, GTM platforms, test their capabilities, decide when to adopt an existing solution versus build custom.

Prove quality, impact: Test accuracy, reliability, output quality, keep improving production workflows, then track adoption, time saved, cost reduction, ROI to prioritize future investment. Weigh token usage, API consumption, software cost, infrastructure, human effort against the value delivered.

Drive adoption: Partner with marketers on new workflows, write clear documentation, playbooks, help teams run the systems independently.

Stay ahead: Track emerging models, agent frameworks, platforms, turning the most promising into practical advantages for Hostaway.

Builder, AI engineer: Past full-stack or backend engineering experience is required. You can independently design, build, deploy, maintain AI-powered applications, agents, multi-step workflows that measurably improved team performance. You are comfortable with models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, coding environments such as Claude Code.

AI platform, integration fluency: You have hands-on experience evaluating, implementing emerging AI, GTM platforms such as Qualified, Clay, Jasper, Copy.ai, HubSpot Breeze, then integrating systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Meta, Google, LinkedIn with reliable data flows between them. You quickly judge where a platform is ready, where it is not, for real business problems.
