About the role

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join

In Community Policy, our mission is to create and evolve principled policies that establish the rules of the road for guests and hosts across Airbnb. This involves solving some of the most complex Trust & Safety challenges of our time. Our work is informed by rigorous research and stakeholder collaboration, and we design policies that can support our community at scale. We team with our cross-functional partners to create accessible policy enforcement guides and to continuously maintain and improve our policies.

The Difference You Will Make

As a Senior Manager for Community Policy, you will partner closely with stakeholders across the company to support Airbnb's strategic objectives. You will lead policy development in the anti-discrimination and safety space, addressing real-world harms and ensuring every host and guest is treated fairly. This role entails understanding the needs of hosts and guests and collaborating closely with our operations, legal, business, design, and product teams. The policies you build will directly shape how millions of hosts and guests experience Airbnb and their confidence in the platform.
