Title and Summary
Director of Product Management, Freight & Logistics Payments Strategy, Global B2B Transportation
Overview
Director, Freight & Logistics Payments Strategy, Global B2B Transportation will drive growth across the freight, logistics, and supply chain payments ecosystem, spanning air, sea, road, and rail. This role focuses on identifying where Mastercard's commercial products, partnerships, data capabilities, acceptance, and embedded payment solutions can create value in a complex transportation market.
Payment flows across transportation remain fragmented, moving through invoices, virtual cards, freight payment and audit workflows, ACH, checks, and specialized transportation payment providers. Success requires understanding how the key players, from shippers and carriers to freight brokers, forwarders, 3PLs, TMS platforms, and technology providers, operate and exchange value. The successful candidate will turn that knowledge into practical go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and product requirements, serving as the link between Business Development, regional and global product teams, and external partners to help Mastercard qualify opportunities and drive meaningful growth.
We are looking for someone who comes from the freight and logistics industry, provides services or solutions to this vertical, or has worked at a payments company serving freight, logistics, fleet, transportation, or supply chain clients. The ideal candidate brings a generalist mentality and strong business and technical problem-solving skills, moving easily between market strategy, client engagement, financial business cases, product requirements, and cross-functional execution.
