About the Role
CrowdStrike is looking for a Director of Rapid Response & Thought Leadership to shape the cybersecurity conversation and extend CrowdStrike's leadership across the industry's most critical security challenges. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates with a strong sense of urgency, and can quickly turn emerging threats, technical research, and industry developments into compelling narratives and high-impact marketing programs.
In this role, you'll lead CrowdStrike's marketing rapid-response program, ensuring we respond quickly and effectively to emerging threats, critical vulnerabilities, and major cybersecurity events. You'll also build and execute strategic thought leadership programs, with a strong focus on AI research, AI safety, securing AI, and defending with AI, alongside other priority cybersecurity domains.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to build and lead a small, high-performing team. We're looking for someone who combines strong cybersecurity knowledge, exceptional storytelling, and operational discipline with the ability to build scalable programs and deliver measurable business impact.
What You'll Do
Own and lead CrowdStrike's marketing rapid-response program for emerging threats, critical vulnerabilities, major cybersecurity incidents, and breaking security developments.

Bring together Product Marketing, Campaigns, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Communications, Editorial, Legal, Digital, and Sales Enablement to coordinate and execute rapid-response initiatives from initial assessment through publication and amplification.
Work closely with technical experts to rapidly translate threat research and emerging security developments into timely, actionable content, including blogs, technical explainers, webinars, videos, and customer-facing resources.
Lead strategic AI thought leadership programs spanning frontier AI research, AI safety, securing AI systems and agents, and defending with AI, establishing CrowdStrike as a leading voice in the AI security conversation.
