Meet the Team
Cisco's Resilient Infrastructure program is a highly visible, company-wide initiative to strengthen the security posture of Cisco's portfolio. You will join the Security & Trust Organization (S&TO) to own the strategy and day-to-day execution of this top pivotal initiative. You will collaborate closely with platform product and engineering leadership, internal security research and incident-response teams, the corporate security organization, Sales, Customer Experience teams, and senior partners across Cisco. This is a highly cross-functional, executive-facing environment where you will align teams across product, engineering, sales, services, communications, and marketing around a shared security and resiliency agenda.
As an Engineering Product Manager, you will
Own and lead the strategy and execution of Resilient Infrastructure, ensuring continued program execution with high visibility, transparency, and accountability across major product and platform areas.
Coordinate with platform and security leadership partners to track and lead execution against roadmaps, engaging deeply on the technical substance to identify risk and escalate appropriately to principal engineering leadership.
Shape and guide the program's strategic direction by defining the next phases of work, identifying emerging priorities, and championing new opportunities to extend the Resilient Infrastructure approach into new products and platforms.
Partner with internal security research, product-security incident response teams, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to define program work, align customer-facing messaging, and respond to customer inquiries.
Build and maintain accurate, up-to-date transparency into program progress for senior and executive leadership, representing the program directly in executive-level conversations and ensuring internal and external messaging stays aligned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors + 12 years of related experience, or Masters + 8 years of related experience, or PhD + 5 years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience.
Proven experience in product management, technical program management, or security program leadership within a large, multi-platform engineering organization.
Technical proficiency in product and network security, including attack surface reduction, secure-by-default design, and detection and response.
Proven ability to influence across cross-functional teams and excellent executive communication skills to synthesize sophisticated technical information for senior audiences.
Demonstrated critical thinking with experience shaping program direction and priorities, bringing structure and accountability to ambiguous programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise networking platforms (routers, switches, firewalls, identity/access management systems) or equivalent multi-platform environments.
Familiarity with product security incident response processes, vulnerability lifecycle management, or product security domains.
Experience supporting customer-facing security incident response and translating technical security capabilities into go-to-market messaging.
Prior experience briefing executive level partners on security program status, risks, and landmarks.
Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-platform programs spanning multiple product lines or business units.
