About the Role
Calendly is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help shape how we position, launch, and grow our products, including new AI capabilities.
This is a full-stack product marketing role on a small team. You'll work closely with Product and Research to understand customers, develop compelling positioning, and influence product direction. You'll also roll up your sleeves to turn that strategy into work customers actually see, from writing messaging and launch copy to managing go-to-market plans and coordinating execution with other teams.
You'll have genuine influence over product decisions and the ownership to bring that thinking to market yourself.
We're looking for someone who enjoys both sides of product marketing: developing a strong point of view and doing hands-on work to bring it to life. You'll present strategies and go-to-market plans directly to executive leaders, including our CEO, and be expected to explain your recommendations, answer tough questions, and incorporate feedback. You'll also need to be comfortable working independently, navigating changing priorities, and taking projects from early ideas through execution and results.
Shape product positioning and influence decisions
Bring customer and market insights into product decisions. Analyze customer research, feedback, competitive trends, and product data to identify opportunities and make recommendations to Product and Marketing leaders.
Own product positioning and messaging. Define who our products are for, the problems they solve, what makes them different, and how we communicate their value. Develop and maintain product narratives and messaging that other teams can use.
Partner with Product and Research early. Help identify important use cases, questions to investigate, and messaging to test as new products and features take shape, especially emerging AI capabilities.
Bring a clear point of view. Make thoughtful recommendations, explain the evidence and tradeoffs behind them, and work with stakeholders to reach decisions.
Lead go-to-market execution
Own launches from start to finish. Develop the go-to-market strategy for new products and major features, including the audience, messaging, channel plan, and success metrics.
Create the actual marketing work. When needed, write clear, compelling copy for product launches, including customer emails, website messaging, in-product education, demo scripts, and sales materials.
Drive execution across teams. Build launch briefs and project plans, coordinate with Lifecycle, Growth, Web, Brand, and other partners, and make sure deliverables get completed on time.
Keep teams informed and aligned. Maintain up-to-date messaging, launch documentation, and product updates so other teams know what's changing and how to communicate it.
Measure results and improve. Work with Product, Research, and Growth to understand campaign performance, product discovery, and adoption. Use what you learn to refine messaging and improve results.
